Alcon Air Optix Colors

Alcon – Air Optix Colors Virtual Try-On Rich Media Ad

Objective: Boost awareness and interest in Alcon’s Air Optix Colors contact lenses by delivering an engaging and visually appealing ad experience that highlights color variety and ease of use—ultimately driving trial sign-ups and product consideration.

Creative Approach: We developed an interactive ad where users can drag and drop different colored contact lenses onto a model’s eye, instantly visualizing how each shade transforms appearance. This hands-on experience mirrors the virtual try-on tools Alcon offers on their site, making the ad both fun and functional. The creative design emphasized intuitive interaction and visual clarity to keep engagement high and exploration seamless.

My Role: I led the concept and creation of this rich media experience, translating the try-on idea into a slick, drag-to-apply interaction. I designed the UI elements and animated transitions, and implemented the interactive logic that let viewers explore the full spectrum of colors effortlessly.

Impact: This ad offered a personalized and memorable interaction that aligned with Alcon’s emphasis on confident self-expression. The intuitive engagement drove deeper user attention toward Air Optix Colors and supported in-ad exploration of shade options.
