I was born and raised in the Bay Area, first-born to immigrant parents— from Guam and Mexico. Being Chamorro and Mexicano is a big part of who I am, and it shows up in everything I do. Family, culture, and diversity have always been important to me, and they’ve shaped the way I see the world and the way I create.
I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always drawing, and that grew into a love for graffiti and tattoo art. That creative drive eventually led me into advertising and design, where I found a way to take art, storytelling, and culture and turn it into a career.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me fishing. It’s my favorite thing in the world—being outdoors, breaking down every little detail of the process, and just being present in a wild ocean. I love traveling, trying new foods, and experiencing new cultures. Cooking, eating, and sharing a meal with good company is one of the things I enjoy most.
Art and creativity are everywhere in my life. I love movies, especially the storytelling and visuals that go into cinema. I’m also into cars and car culture—lowriders and classics in particular, because they carry so much history, identity, and craftsmanship. I’ve also been deep into technology and of lately AI, exploring how it can change the way we create and open up new ways to tell stories.
More than anything, I just enjoy connecting with people. I love hearing their stories, listening to their experiences, and finding inspiration in the details of everyday life. All of these things fishing, food, travel, art, cars, culture, people are what feed me. They’re soul food, and they’re what inspire everything I do.
